Madhur Bhandarkar: Not making Calendar girl with Deepika Padukone

National award winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar dismissed rumoured that he was working on a movie titled Calendar Girl.

There were reports doing the round that Madhur had approached Deepika Padukone for a role in the movie, since she is a former model.

But the Page 3, Fashion and Heroine director took to Twitter and said he has never approached any actor or actress for the lead role.

Madhur Bhandarkar wrote on Twitter: "Just to set the record straight I am NOT making any film called Calendar Girl. So there's no question of approaching any actor or actress.. (sic)"

Further clarifying his position, Madhur wrote he is just in the scripting phase of a movie.
"...Currently I am busy scripting my next film. Casting will come later. When the time is right, I'll make an official announcement," he tweeted.
