Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s hit-and-run case hasn’t lost him fans.
In fact, fans have been supporting him through his hard times, if we can
call it that.
Twitter is abuzz with the hash tag iStandBySalman showing fan support for the star.
“Nothing Bad will Happen wid Bhaijan . Our Love and Prayers from Bangladesh wid u always . #IStandBySalman @BeingSalmanKhan” says a fan @BeingHasan. Another fan, Khurrathul ain
@khurrath says, “People Don’t remember the good things u hav done many tyms they only remember the bad u do 1′s #IStandBySalman u will win @BeingSalmanKhan.”
But Khan feels that a lot of negative publicity and inaccurate reporting have caused damage to his reputation.
So now there is a website called salmankhanfiles.com that will keep media and fans informed on all that’s happening in Khan’s court cases and updated from time-to-time by his lawyers.
The website will provide “easily accessible factual information about the ongoing status of these cases,” the website states.
“I have the greatest respect for the law, the judiciary and the legal process. Nothing on this website is intended to influence anyone, the sole purpose being to present the facts, and the status of the cases I’m involved in,” reads the website intro.
A Mumbai court last week dismissed Khan’s application against trial in the 10-years-old hit-and-run case that left three people injured and one dead. The actor will have to stand trial that begins July 19.
